Our engagement was to develop the asking price for the hotel and prepare it for sale. After building the Hotel Pro Forma, we increased the asking price by $3M.

Assisted as Owner Rep building the Hotel Financial Model to raise capital for renovation. Negotiated the HMA and TSA with a major hotel brand. Secured 3rd party consultants. Project in Pre-Development.

Acted as strategic advisor including developing hotel pro forma and marketing plan for founders to raise Series A funding. Performed hotel acquisition due diligence. Project plan is to open first 2 hotels in 2025.

With 10 years of hotel experience, Matthew has successfully advised on hotel development projects ranging from boutique hotels to large-scale resorts. Matthew has been an executive of a large resort chain, AMResorts, and a CEO of a boutique hotel chain. And for the last several years has specialized in hotel consulting on projects from $10M to $120M USD. His expertise spans financial modeling, development advisory services and market analysis. His project experience is global having worked with hotels throughout N. America, S. America, Europe and the Caribbean.
Prior to the hotel industry, Matthew worked in investment banking and consulting. He holds a B.A. Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Virginia
