Matthew has been an executive of a large resort chain, AMResorts, and a CEO of a boutique hotel chain. And for the last several years has specialized in hotel consulting on projects from $10M to $120M USD. His expertise spans financial modeling, development advisory services and market analysis. His project experience is global having worked with hotels throughout N. America, S. America, Europe and the Caribbean.
Prior to the hotel industry, Matthew worked in investment banking and consulting. He holds a B.A. Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Virginia

How long does a financial model take to create?
Project delivery varies depending on scope and complexity. While I don’t start from scratch, every client’s financial model has at least some unique considerations. Thus models can be created anywhere from 6-8 hours or 15-20 hours. Either way, I work quickly to deliver.
Do you work with first-time hotel investors?
Yes, we guide investors at all experience levels. Our educational approach includes market briefings, risk assessment training, and step-by-step guidance through the investment process. We ensure clients understand each decision point and its long-term implications.
